What should I wear?

You are welcome to come as you are! We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and allows you to focus on worship. Some people dress in traditional church attire, while others come in casual wear.
Do I need to be a member to attend services or events?

No, everyone is welcome at Allen Chapel AME Church! You don’t have to be a member to attend our services or participate in our events and ministries.
What should I expect during the worship service?

Our service typically includes inspiring worship music, prayer, a Bible-based sermon, and opportunities for fellowship. Services last about 90 minutes. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.
What do you offer for young adults?

Our IMPACT Young Adult Ministry is a vibrant community that offers Bible studies, social gatherings, and outreach opportunities for individuals aged 18-40.
Do you have programs for children and youth?

Yes! We have the Young People's Division (YPD), which provides engaging activities, lessons, and spiritual growth opportunities for children and youth. Children can participate in age-appropriate programs designed to help them grow in their faith and connect with others.
Do you offer counseling or pastoral care?

Yes, our ministerial team is available for spiritual counseling, prayer, and support. You can contact the church office to schedule an appointment or speak with a minister after service.
How do I give to the church?

You can give during our Sunday service or online through our virtual options on the website. We also accept donations via mail. Your generosity helps us continue our ministry and outreach.
